Infinity Early College High School opens to students

January 19, 2018 - Infinity Early College High School opened to students Jan. 10. Operating in the New Caney ISD Annex during its first four years, IECHS graduated its first class of students in 2017. The school was recognized in 2017 as one of the top high schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report and was selected by Educational Results Partnership and the Institute for Productivity in Education as one of 727 public schools in Texas to receive the title of Honor Roll School.

Early College High Schools are innovative high schools that allow students an opportunity to earn a high school diploma and up to 60 college credit hours. Early college high school students are provided dual credit at no cost to students, offered rigorous instruction and accelerated courses, and provided academic and social support services to help them succeed with increased college readiness. Located on Sorters Road near Lone Star College - Kingwood, the school can serve up to 500 students as part of the Texas Early College High School Program.
