Construction progressing at Woodridge Forest Middle School

Construction is progressing on the expansion at Woodridge Forest Middle School. Classroom additions have their underground drainage and the concrete foundation complete. The structural steel is 50 percent complete. The physical education addition has its underground drainage and concrete foundation complete. The masonry is 98 percent complete, waterproofing is 90 percent complete, roof is 90 percent complete, and the exterior insulation is 70 percent complete. The bleacher expansion foundation is 50 percent complete. The existing campus new fire alarm is 39 percent complete and the Acrovyn wall cover is 10 percent complete.


Also, design is complete for the new middle school. Construction documents are 95 percent complete. For comprehensive high school #3, the schematic design is 100 percent complete and the design development is 50 percent complete. Finally, rough grading for an expansion of the transportation facility is 100 percent complete. The underground drainage is 90 percent complete. The underground electrical system is 70 percent complete. The retention pond expansion is 45 percent complete. The storm-water lift station is 20 percent complete.
