Demographic update projects continued student enrollment growth
New Caney ISD was among the fastest growing school districts in the Houston area over the last five years and can expect continued student enrollment growth in the coming years, according to Population and Survey Analysts' (PASA) recent demographic update report to the Board of Trustees. The study, completed during the spring of 2019, analyzes population and student enrollment, employment and housing trends, and implications for growth planning. The report includes the study of current student locations, potential growth based on new housing, trends occurring in student relocation patterns across the district, and economic factors relevant to both the district and the nation.
