Bond 2023 Election

The New Caney ISD Board of Trustees approved a resolution canvassing the official returns of the district’s May 6, 2023 bond election, at its regular meeting May 15, 2023. Voters approved two propositions on the ballot in the amount of $695 million to fund new school construction, facility improvements, and land acquisition. Proposition A was approved by approximately 61% of voters while Proposition B was approved by approximately 58% of voters.
