July, 2021 - Keefer Crossing Middle School is 92 percent complete overall. The rough mechanical, electrical, and plumbing is 98 percent complete. The mechanical finish is 85 percent complete. The electrical finish is 75 percent complete. The plumbing is 85 percent complete. The ceramic tile is 100 percent complete. The paint is 88 percent complete. The ceiling grid is 95 percent complete and the ceiling tile is 85 percent complete. The athletic fields are 90 percent complete.
June, 2021 - The new Keefer Crossing Middle School is 88 percent complete overall. The exterior masonry is complete. The rough mechanical, electrical, and plumbing is 98 percent complete. The mechanical finish is 65 percent complete. The electrical finish is 60 percent complete. The plumbing is 60 percent complete. The drywall is complete. The ceramic tile is 90 percent complete. The paint is 75 percent complete. The ceiling grid is 80 percent complete. The athletic fields are 90 percent complete.
May, 2021 - Overall construction at the new Keefer Crossing Middle School is 86 percent complete. The exterior masonry is 95 percent complete. October, 2020 - Keefer Crossing Middle School overall construction is 45 percent complete, site paving is 85 percent complete, site utilities are 90 percent complete, and structural steel is 100 percent complete. The masonry - brick veneer is two percent complete, the interior concrete masonry unit is 90 percent complete, the interior wall framing is 75 percent complete, and the rough mechanical, electrical, and plumbing is 65 percent complete. Roofing at the main building is 98 percent complete. Roofing at the field house is 40 percent complete.
September, 2020 - Keefer Crossing Middle School site paving is 80 percent complete. The structural steel is 95 percent complete, masonry is 20 percent complete, storm and sewer site utilities are 95 percent complete and the rough mechanical and electrical installation is 18 percent complete.
August, 2020 - The site paving at Keefer Crossing Middle School is 50 percent complete. The structural steel installation is 90 percent complete, roof decking installation is 90 percent complete, and masonry installation is at 15 percent. The site utilities installation is at 85 percent. The rough mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation is at 15 percent.
July, 2020 - Construction is progressing as scheduled and is 33 percent complete. The structural steel installation is virtually complete and roof decking installation is 45 percent complete. The exterior masonry and steel framing has started along with the plumbing, electrical and HVAC rough-in work.
May, 2020 - Construction at Keefer Crossing Middle School is progressing well with overall completion at 22 percent. The parking lot paving is at 75 percent, the building foundation is 65 percent complete, and the structural steel is 18 percent complete.
April, 2020 - Keefer Crossing Middle School construction is on schedule and 16 percent complete. Most of the underground drainage system is complete along with 50 percent of the parking lot. The foundation is 40 percent complete allowing the erection of the structural steel to start.
February, 2020 - Keefer Crossing MS construction is slightly behind schedule due to the inclement weather but will not affect the final completion date. The grading work is 90 percent complete, underground storm piping 20 percent complete, structural concrete piers at the main building 98 percent complete with piers at the field house in progress. The perimeter grade beams are at 10 percent completion.

Construction begins this month on the new 221,650 square-foot campus and is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2021. The new campus will have an additional 450 new seats for a capacity of 1,500 students.

The campus will include a field house, lighted football field, 8-lane track, and a practice field. Work on construction documents will begin early this spring with construction bids going out this summer. Located at 21460 Gene Campbell Road, the school is scheduled to open in August 2021. The name of the new middle school will remain Keefer Crossing Middle School.

The facility, part of the 2018 bond program approved by voters in May, will be a replacement campus for Keefer Crossing Middle School.
