Construction for the new Porter Elementary campus is under way. Purcell Construction, the contractor for the new campus, began work on the site. They are installing public utilities, clearing land, and grubbing which is removing underground vegetative matter such as roots and stumps. Overall site surveying and staking has been completed. The new campus has been relocated to Loop 494 about a quarter-mile south of its present location.
