Board awards construction contract for PHS project, demolition at Elementary #10 site begins

The New Caney ISD Board of Trustees awarded the construction contract for additions and renovations at Porter High School to GTT Construction at its April meeting. Also, construction drawings for the early college high school campus are approximately 80% complete. Bids for the early college campus project are scheduled to go out in September 2016. Last, demolition at the site of Aikin Elementary School began in April and is nearing completion.
