Board approves construction contract for early college campus
The New Caney ISD Board of Trustees awarded a construction contract for Infinity Early College High School to Pepper Lawson Construction at its regular meeting this month. Design of the early college campus was completed at the end of the summer. NCISD Director of Facility Planning and Construction Richard Gates reported to the Board that the foundation for Elementary School #10 is complete. The parking lot is nearing completion and structural steel installation is approximately 75% complete. The school is approximately 22% complete overall. Also, work at Porter High School is approximately 20% complete. Structural steel installation and the additional parking area are complete. Roof work is approximately 40% complete.
