Work on the child nutrition warehouse
continues. It is the final project from the
2012 bond.

NCISD Director of Facility Planning and Construction Richard Gates reported to the Board of Trustees at its November 16, 2015 meeting that work was continuing on expansion of the child nutrition warehouse (2012 bond) and on the field house at White Oak Middle School (2015 bond). Gates said workers would begin underground plumbing and laying the slab soon. Also, security upgrades are progressing with card readers for facility access would be going out to bid in November and to the Board after the first of the year for approval.
